    Hello Joris
first i would like to say that your plugin is excellent, thanks for supplying it.
I would like to know if it is easy to change the skroutz shopping engine to NOT include parent product when variants are present as this has become a prerequisite with them

    thanks in advance
    john

  • Hi John,

    Thanks for the compliment ??

I have checked and this is already current functionality of the plugin. If you enable the ‘product variants’ option and create a XML or CSV product feed for Skroutz the mother product is already left out.

Do you have any indication this is not working?

    Thanks,
    Joris

hhhmmm i can not check it now because trying to create feed causes 500 internal server error, any ideas ?

No idea why you are getting a 500 internal server error. Changes are that this has something to do with your website/wordpress set-up. Did you make any changes, or installed a plugin, that does something with cache and/or user-rights?

i have the same setup on multiple servers but only with this one it does it, could it be because it has over 50 atributes ?

50 attributes should not be an issue, only when you have over 200 or so it might cause an error. You never ran the plugin before on the server that is giving you the error now?

the strange thing is it that it was working fine (very slow but working) , then i deleted the feed so i could re-create it , and now every time i try to create a feed get a blank page and in the inspect editor it shows internal error 500, the server is not showing something in the logs , nor is wordpress reporting any errors …… am at a loss with this one

ok figured why i was getting a blank page on create feed and error 500 in logs, anyone else having this problem needs to adjust php-fpm timeout value, cpanels default is way to low and the plugin needs a lot of time to run

@exentric great you were able to find out this fix for yourself and share it with the rest of the users who might experience this issue.

Nonetheless, as you rightfully said, the plugin requires quite some time to run. Especially when a shop has thousands of products, hundreds of categories and attributes and created filters and rules and runs on an old PHP version. I think we should do as much as possible to also make the plugin work under those circumstances so I’ll spend some time the upcoming weeks to improve this.

    Thanks again for your feedback,
    Joris
