I have tested this plugin in order to create a feed for Skroutz.gr (Greece).
I have noticed though that it doesn’t have the option to group the variable products combining their variation’s Size attribute like (S,M,L,XL) but instead, it creates a new product on the feed.

For example, if you have only 1 product with 3 sizes, Skroutz wants an XML that has only one product with the sizes separated with commas, like this example:
    https://developer.skroutz.gr/feedspec/#xml-example

But this plugin doesn’t create it that way.
    Any help on that?

  • Hi elavd,

    The skroutz documentation states:

If the product comes in sizes you can include all available sizes in this attribute seperated by commas.

    And:

In case of clothes, sizes can be in one of the following formats

I don’t believe it is a requirement to put them all in one field separated with a comma. They allow you to do so if you want. That’s also why they say “can” in the sentences above.

We are not supporting this for multiple reasons as quit often product variants do not only differ in the attribute value (such as size) but also for other attributes such as SKU, stock information or even more important prices. When variants, for example, all have a different price (which is very common) than what price to put in the product feed as only 1 variant would be in there.

    Hope this makes sense?

    Best,
    Eva
