Skipped files and folders

    Hi.

    One of my sites has definitely been compromised, as I found a page [my domain name]/prices-for-cialis during a search.

    Unfortunately, I can’t update the plug-in and WP for the moment as the site is being transferred to new servers. So I won’t bother you with specific questions until I can do that.

    However, I have a general question: I just ran a scan on the plug-ins and it comes up with 84 skipped folders and 78 skipped files. I have 14 active and 13 inactive plug-ins. Do these figures seem normal. My fear is that an intruder might have made files on the server invisible.

    My plugin skips empty folder and most binary file types and some non-executable files by default, but it does not skip hidden files. In fact, if you have any files that have been locked or have the permissions set to not allow the file to be read then you will see those files listed under read/write errors.
