As stated on plugin description page free version will only smush standard web-sized images that are 1MB or smaller.

Pro version offers smushing images up to 32MB and we are currently offering free 14 day trial on our site if you want to give it a go you can check it out here:

There’s no contract included, you will not be billed until your trial period ends or if you cancel your free trial before the subscription period starts.
