I am having an issue with Skip to Content. I add my #content to the main content area – and can select “Skip to Content” and it successfully goes to my #content ID. However, when tab again it goes back to the top nav at the very beginning instead of going to the next focus under my #content. Any advice on what is happening or am I setting this up incorrectly?

    thanks!

FYI: am Using Elementor w/Hello theme. Are there known issues with Elementor?

It seems Elementor’s “smooth scroll” is causing the issues with tabindex. If I break the smooth scroll on click # it seems to work as expected – however this breaks mobile navigation, etc.

Smoothscroll will usually break all in-page links, including skip to content links. Most smoothscroll code only changes the position of the viewport – changing what you see, not changing the actual focus position within the page. As a result, Smoothscroll breaks keyboard interactions.

That is what I figured…. I just need to figure out how to disable smooth scroll in Elementor. I will let you know if I find a reasonable method for Elementor users using your plugin. Thank you!
