This is such a fantastic plugin. I’ve been testing it for a few days. I think it would be very valuable to have the equivalent of a “skip” or “already known” button, so that users don’t have to click through to the answer before choosing “got it!”. (As it stands, as far as I can see you have to click to the other side of a card before you can progress further.)

Flashcard decks can get very boring for users who a very familiar with most of the content, hence the utility of a faster card elimination process.

Thanks! It seems that would simply be having “Got it!” always enabled. (As you point out, it’s not enabled until the user clicks to the other side.) Let me see what I can do to make that an option…

Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes, that would certainly be the simplest solution! (Although the semantics of “got it!” imply a just-achieved learning point, rather than existing familiarity, so from an interface-design perspective, the text is not ideal for the former scenario. So it’s lucky the plugin has the option of changing button text! ?? )

Ah, that’s a good option. Qwizcards version 3.86 has the option gotit_active=”true”, which keeps the “Got it!” button active, and re-labels it as “Skip”, and changes it to “Got it!” if the user views the back. So now you have two options to change the text! You can also set this with the wizard.
