    Hi, I’m trying to set up the skimlinks API credentials and on their site I have: a client ID, secret ID, Publisher ID and user ID. On the content egg settings page I’m not sure what to fill in for Account type and Account ID.

    I’m unsure what to put for those, can someone help me out?

    Hi,

    Upgrade to the latest CE version and follow this guide: https://www.keywordrush.com/docs/content-egg/SkimlinksCoupons.html

    I’m using version 4.9.8. Is this not the most up to date version for WordPress?

    I’m sorry this isn’t a guide, the field names don’t match up. It’s unclear.

    I’ve used my secret key as the public key and account type is publisher_user.
    I’ve put my client ID as the account ID.
    Site ID is the site ID (they had the same label.)

    It doesn’t work.
    I got this error message:

    Error: HTTP request status fails: 401 – Unauthorized. Server replay: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN”> <title>401 Unauthorized</title> <h1>Unauthorized</h1> <p>The server could not verify that you are authorized to access the URL requested. You either supplied the wrong credentials (e.g. a bad password), or your browser doesn’t understand how to supply the credentials required.</p>

    Okay but I’m using the free version. Are you saying I can’t integrate skimlinks unless I use the pro version?

    It shouldn’t matter what version I’m using, the field labels should be the same that skimlinks uses and they aren’t.

    They renamed the variable names as follows:

    Public Key => Client ID
    Account ID => Publisher Id
