Skimlinks compatibility

    So, it seems that if I have Skimlinks, then there is no need to sign up for a GeoRiot account because Skimlinks provides both analytics and affiliate commission handling.

    So, I’m getting the localization functionality for free.

    Would be nice if you guys merged.

    Unfortunately you won’t get the affiliation for iTunes through Skimlinks if you’re using our plugin. The way we “work” with Skimlinks is that all other link types that Skimlinks supports will still go through them, but all iTunes (and Amazon links if you use our Amazon Link Engine plugin as well), will go through our service instead.

    So – if you want the affiliate support and analytics for iTunes as well as the localization, you will need a GeoRiot account as well. Otherwise, if you’re solely interested in localization, then yes you can use the iLE plugin for free.
