Sizes and contents of zip file

  • It appears the author may no longer support this plugin but it still works great.

    I noticed after opening one of my recent media library backups that many of the images that I deleted from my WordPress media library are still showing up in the backup, so the size of the zip file continues to increase.

    Is there a safe way to clear out those old files so they no longer get backed up?
