• I want my slides to be 467px X 700px which I set in the settings panel, but the slideshow is displaying at 200 x 700. I’m using the plugin on another test site and it’s working fine.

Hi, there are a couple things that could be going on here.

One, the slide images might be cropped by something in your theme’s stylesheet. You could use Firebug to investigate that, or post a link and I can check it out. The second thing is, was the slideshow set to 467px X 700px when you uploaded the images, or did you change that later?

Howdy…same issue. Regardless of actual image size or height/width settings I come up with slides cropped both left and right….www.williamleroy.com/walkingnaturehome

    Thanks!

    Hi Josh,

I checked it out in Firebug and I was using the Easing Slider plugin before and it was working fine so I know it’s not being cropped by my stylesheet. As to your second question, I set the size after I had uploaded the images.

Here is a link, it’s on the home page and I am using the basic shortcode:

Similar problem. Slides added in, published. Placed the [meteor_slideshow] shortcode in the bottom of my post.
Only the top image (of 6) shows up, it is cropped to about 200 px high, and the prev/next buttons to not move to the next slide.
Settings has the size at 380x380px, slides slide size shows correct.

@badwoodb The slide images are sized when they are uploaded, changing the dimensions in the settings will change the slideshow size, but not the size of the images.

Try re-uploading of of the slide images, it should match your current dimensions.

@backpacker100 Hi, it looks like the slide images are portrait style, tall and narrow, but the slideshow settings are landscape, wide and short?

To get the best results, I’d suggest sizing your images to the desired size with an image editor before uploading them. And also make sure that size is set in the settings before uploading them.

@fromagebob Can you post a link? If the slideshow isn’t working at all, it is probably a JavaScript conflict.
