• Hi everyone!

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I’ll be short; how much space does WordPress take up, with like.. a regular amount of posts, images, plugins and themes? What would be a median of the size, kind of?

    Thanks. ??

  • Wow, that’s a wide open question, so here is my wide open estimate. With everything you describe, I would consider a 10mb site to be small-ish, a 70mb site to medium-ish and a 200mb site to be large-ish. Of course, a photo or video site could blow those estimates out of the water, but there’s a wide open estimate for a wide open question.

Haha, yeah, it sure is a wide one.

But, well, I’ll post text mostly, photos&videos sometimes… but hardly never.

So I guess a free host with 200mB could do it, with size, I mean? ??

Your text is going to be in the database anyway, so if the 200mb is file storage, then that should do nicely. Of course, that’s only one consideration with free hosts…I haven’t seen many (any, in fact) that I would trust my site to–if it’s a site I care about.

    That’s true.
I might pay for a budget one. It’s not too expensive anyway.

    Thanks anyway! ??
