Size of widget

Hey there – Yes you can easily adjust the width of the widget on smaller devices easily using CSS. If you do not know CSS then you may need to reach out to someone who does. Please let me know if you have anymore questions!

I figured that but I’m weak with CSS. If I upgrade to the Pro version, will it automatically resize for mobile?

It depends on the widget style you choose within the widget. If you upgrade to Pro we can help you get it working on mobile.

I’m a little confused. If a restaurant is already paying Open Table to use their service, surely they should provide the widget for free? I know there is a free version already (I am using it), and to be honest I looked at the video for the pro version and I don’t see anything that different. What’s in Pro that’s not already in the free version? Multiple restaurant bookings don’t apply in my case, I’m just one small business. It appears I would have to pay $19 just to have the widget optimized for mobile, which it should be anyway, wouldn’t you say?

We are not associated with Open Table at all. Open Table does provide their own free widget but it’s not very good. That’s why we have built the WordPress widget which comes in the Free version, which I believe you are using, and the Pro version, which is $19. So, to be clear, we are not associated with Open Table at all.
