Size displayed on order email since recent updates

    Since the recent updates, a product size is displayed on the order emails however as the product is a variable product, this already displays the variation (size in this case) as part of the product name.

    It therefore displays as such:

    test – One Size (36-43) × 1
    Size: One Size (36-43)

    Is there a way to remove this duplication?

    Since you made recent updates, this could be related to a conflict between WooCommerce and your theme or another plugin; an outdated or malfunctioning code could be interfering.

    To be sure of this, please perform a conflict test by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce, and then check again if the issue persists.

    If that solves it, reactivate the theme first and check again. Then, reactivate your other plugins, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

    If you cannot perform a conflict test on your live site, we recommend creating a staging site using the WP Staging plugin.

    I’ve tried that and it is still displaying it.
    I also tried on my localhost with literally just woocommerce active and it still occurs.

    Hi there,

    Could you please share a link to the test product and a copy of your site’s System Status?

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    It’s been a while since we last heard back from you. I’m going to mark this thread as resolved.

    Hopefully, you were able to find a way forward with the issue – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Having the same issue on 2 different stores.
    Order confirmation email includes the size after the product as well as below the product.
    Used to work just fine.
