Hi all, i have a woocomerce store and my theme is  Porto version 6.10.0 also this theme uses YITH WooCommerce AJAX Product Filter v 4.26.0. My products are variable products that have 3 attributes size, brand, season. In my product categories pages i have filters due to attributes. Ι have an issue that when one variation of a product has available stock 0 (out of stock) and user filters this attribute, this product is visible in the catalogue.

Example Lets same the we have a product “Jacket 20215 Black Adidas” which is in the Category path “Men Clothes->Jackets” this product has Size Attributes “S | M | L ” in the variations of this product stock is like this S=0pcs(out of stock) , M=2pcs , L=4pcs. When user is in the category “Men Clothes->Jackets” and choose the in size filter “S” shouldn’t be displayed in the catalogue the product “Jacket 20215 Black Adidas”. Unfortubately it is.

    Any solution???

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi there,

it’s not an issue, let me explain the reason.

In the product archive pages you see the main variable products, not the single variations. If you filter for an attribute and the main product match with that, the product will be in list, although the relative variation is out of stock.

If you try filter by stock, the product will be considered out of stock only if all variations are out of stock. If just one of them is available, the product is available if you filter by product “in stock”.

We use default WooCommerce layered navigation so the behavior is something of expected.

    HI there,

you’re welcome, don’t hesitate contact us whenever you need.

    Have a nice day.

How can I fix this bug? Is it possible to add a check for availability when searching for variations? Is it possible to add a presence check when selecting variations? Or should I look for a different plugin?
