Sitewide tags indexing issue!
-
root domain: ABC.COM
sitewide name: TAGS.ABC.COM
subsite: XYZ.ABC.COMIf I publish something on XYZ.ABC.COM (XYZ.ABC.COM/BLAH), sometimes search engines index TAGS.ABC.COM/BLAH instead of XYZ.ABC.COM/BLAH. Google might consider it as a duplicate content. isn’t it quiet risky to use this plugin? or is there any fix?
NOTE: blocking search engines to TAGS.ABC.COM is not a proper solution as I’m using it to generate a network sitemap. And ya the sitemap is working fine as it contains the actual url(eg: XYZ.ABC.COM/BLAH).
