    Hello Yoast,

My website is suffering from a low clickthrough rate since it mysteriously stopped getting featured snippets from Google, or even appearing under the People Also Ask Section. It looks like the site has something in it that blocks Google from naturally showing its content to featured snippets and knowledge panels, or a setting in Yoast. Please note that I had featured snippets until March of this year, but I can’t figure out what happened. Kindly take a close look at my website and tell me what the problem could be. I have personally got a knowledge panel for my name, but my site (which has authority for it) can’t get a featured snippet for it as well. Please please help me because it is causing a lot of distrust from some of my clients. Is there a tweak in Yoast known to prevent them?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You mentioned that suddenly, you’ve lost the Google Knowledge Graph and would like to know if this is due to something within the Yoast setting. Please allow us to clarify.

Our Yoast SEO plugin does not control Google’s Knowledge Graph Card. Though the Yoast plugin adds the code necessary for Google to display this, but still it’s entirely up to Google to generate one for your site or how it should display.

You can find more information on how to fill in the necessary info for the Knowledge Graph Card?here.

Additionally, we recommend you check the following:

    • Verify that your markup is well-formed and processed by Google using Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool. When Google next crawls the page, its indexing algorithms will process the profiles from your markup and make them eligible to be used in search results. You can ask Google to crawl the page by following the instructions here. Please note that this process may take up to a week.
    • If all looks correct, and you have waited at least one week since your marked-up page was last crawled by Google, we recommend reaching out to the Google webmaster forum or support team directly for further information on this.

You can read more in this Yoast guide on the Google knowledge panel if you haven’t already.
