Sitewide custom breadcrumb

I’m trying to change my breadcrumbs to display the current post as “This Post” rather than the actual title of the post. I know you can do this on a per post/page basis but I want to do this sitewide. Right now I have added “This Post” and removed the actual title via filters but surely there is a simpler way.
