• As it says in the title:

this morning my Site Stats page was working perfectly. Now, when I try to log into it (which I probably do over-often), I am redirected to the log-in page in an endless loop.

Have tried logging out and logging back in

I have tried quitting Firefox and restarting. Haven’t powered down the computer and re-started ‘cos I need it working just now, but that’s next – unless anyone has any better ideas?

It may be incredibly sad to want to see who’s coming on, but it cheers my working day…

  • I’ve been having the same problem. I can’t even login to WordPress.com without getting the same loop.

    Any idea what’s going on?

Came to the boards to make sure it’s not just me. It wants me to login to wordpress.com.

Me four. I’m about ready for my straightjacket.

Me five – glad it isn’t just me. I’ve been running in login redirect circles.

    Same problem here.

As nicegirlnotes says, it is asking us all for a wordpress.com login. If I give it that login and password (rather than my www.remarpro.com details, which don’t work), then it logs me into stats for my wordpress.com account.

Which is wrong, since I got there from my www.remarpro.com dashboard. I imagine it might have something to do with this update:
    https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/09/30/sexy-stats/

Unless it’s some mystifying deliberately implemented feature, I’m sure WP will notice their error and get on it soon.

I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this.

I used to log in to my stats widget with the wordpress.com password. Then the stats display inside my www.remarpro.com blog.

Now it’s asking for a login and I keep getting redirected to my www.remarpro.com dashboard. Going to WordPress.com and attempting to log into the global dashboard just redirects to my www.remarpro.com dashboard.

I think it makes me 8 here!

9 Here! i deactivated the stats widget for the time being

yeah same here, been going mad all morning but at least now I know it’s not just me and that there is a universal problem

    Consider me 11

    I’m an even dozen.

Yes, I also have the same issue. I manage 4 blogs and all have the same problem. One of them I didn’t touch for 3 days and the wordpress.com stats just got in error today.

I hope someone can resolve it or I have to think about other plugin.

By the way, does anyone know a good plugin for statistics?

    Thanks.
    BR,
    Marcelo

Also having the same problem; fortunately, StatCounter still works. They’ve got a WP plugin but the free version only tracks the last 500 visitors.

Same here. I’m surprised no on from wordpress has commented on it yet…99% WP works like a dream…and I can live without stats for awhile, but stats are kind of like my crack cocaine…

Exactly, I’m starting to get the shakes because I can’t check those stats.
