Sites reload without stopping

PS This only started happening yesterday. Until then everything was fine.

What do you mean by “always the last one”? It isn’t a specific plugin that causes the issue when activated? My first suggestion would be to throw on the default theme and start deactivating plugins – This should help find the culprit.

I started from the bottom and worked up this time, the list of plug ins. Reloaded the page and when they are all activated it starts up.

Will go back to the default themes on both and try it again.

It only started yesterday. Have not updated plugins, or anything up to that point that I can remember now.

The site does not reload in 2012 theme, but when I go into the customize it menu it reloads, https://aspiritualparadigm.com

I am signing off for today. Will have to work on my client’s blog in the morning see if I can get it fixed for him, then on mine.

Will access the logs and see if there is something that gives me a clue here.

Cannot locate error logs for client site, he is using godaddy.com. https://barrettjunctioncafe.com

My error logs, including the php ones are dated back in 2013. Will have to investigate this further.

What about updates? Restoring the last good backup?

Anyway, found error logs for aspiritualparadigm.com in Cpanel, but only shows denied isps. I wish I had more time to study WP, then would be the one with the answers. grrrrrr.

HELP. I have worked backwards and forwards. First plugin seemed to be the WordPress SEO by Yoast. Then Widget Wrangler. Which makes no sense because I have nearly all the same plugins at OfficeWife.biz and not having the same issue. I am using 2014 theme there.

BarrettJunctionCafe.com: continues to reload when I go into the theme customize page. But I can use the individual sections.

Sticking with the 2012 theme, because nothing else is working, deactivated Widget Wrangler.

I need some insights, help with this. Do not have access to the error logs for this site.

I cannot think of what occurred Monday for this to begin that afternoon. Both aspiritualparadigm.com and barrettjunctioncafe.com, using similar plugins, and different themes.

Those are some strange issues. I can promise Widget Wrangler isn’t responsible for this issues, as it has no mechanism for reloading pages or redirecting. I recommend disabling any browser addons you may have enabled. My Firefox updated this morning to a new version, so you may be running into problems with a browser update versus existing extensions/addons.

Update:

I tried the site without Widget Wrangler and with, Google Chrome, cleared cache, etc. On two different computers. Same issue. Went back to the original theme and tried 2014, with the widgets, without. As long as it is on 2012 the site is stable and no Widget Wrangler. However, I still cannot use the customize for the theme without it reloading continuously also.

I have not even attempted to work on my own blog, aspiritualparadigm.com yet. I need to fix my client’s blog first.

I could really use some help here.

This may or may not help, but as of right now, https://aspiritualparadigm.com/ is reloading in Chrome (35), but not in Firefox (29, both on Windows 7), if you are on the home page. None of the other pages seem to reload. Meanwhile, https://barrettjunctioncafe.com/ isn’t reloading in either browser.

Also, https://aspiritualparadigm.com/ is prompting for translation – don’t know if you’ve added that (I haven’t looked).

For what it’s worth, https://aspiritualparadigm.com/ is showing the Customizr theme and https://barrettjunctioncafe.com/ is showing Twenty Twelve, if that helps at all.

Just wanted to let you know that information, in case it helps – I’ll take a look and see if I can find more information for you.

Can we see the site using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

You are my heroes. I am only here to let you know I won’t get to this until Monday Morning, will make a list of plugins per site. And other info as needed.

Right now, minimal plugins for both, barrettjunctioncafe.com is staying with 2012 theme because the others keep reloading, even without the plugins.

I went through and activated on plugin at a time with the themes I had been using, did fine. Except for the 2014 on Barrett Junction site. Without plugins, activating the themes and trying to use the customize menu for each, they keep reloading.

I do not know how to find what changed on Wednesday when this started.

My officewife.biz site is using 2014 and the same plugins as aspiritualparadigm.com. I wanted to stay consistent with each one I am working on.

Have to go. Back on Monday.

Current Theme is Attitude. Have not activated: Really Simple CAPTCHA, it started the reloading. But by itself it does not.

The site was working for me, until I tried to use the Customizer and it kept reloading, now I go to the site and it is reloading.

I use Chrome. Just tried FireFox, it loaded fine. No reloads.

https://aspiritualparadigm.com I have not had the time to look at, but did try to load in Firefox, it is taking a long time. The bottom left has the messages, transferring, waiting, etc. Going through the social media links. But it is not reloading in Firefox either. Still is in Chrome.

• Enable ALL the plugins you ultimatly want to use on both sites.
• Disable Widget Wrangler on both sites.
• Test the customizer refresh issue and note the results.

• All in One WP Security

• Enable ALL the plugins you ultimatly want to use on both sites. (including Widget Wrangler)
• Disable All in One WP Security
• Test the customizer refresh issue and note the results.

• Either

• Enable ALL the plugins you ultimatly want to use on both sites. (including Widget Wrangler and All in One WP Security)
• Disable Widget Wrangler on barretjunctioncafe
• Disable All in One WP Security on aspiritualparadigm
• Test the customizer refresh issue and note the results.

• Neither

• Enable ALL the plugins you ultimatly want to use on both sites. (including Widget Wrangler and All in One WP Security)

Here goes:

#1, both sites continue to reload in the customize menu.
Both sites stopped reloading when I opened the main site page.

#2, barrettjunctioncafe.com is not reloading in the customizer menu, niether is aspiritualparadigm.com
Main pages are not reloading constantly either.

#3, same as number 2 for the customize menu and main pages.

#4, aspiritualparadigm.com is reloading in customize menu. barrettjunctioncafe.com I don’t have WangGuard. However, it is reloading in customize menu with the other changes.
Main pages in aspiritualparadigm.com is reloading and the barrettjunctioncafe.com is not.

Now What? I have noted this problem with Google’s Forum, because when I visit the pages in Firefox there is not a problem, did not try customize menu tho. One of the forum moderators tried them in Safari and did not have an issue, until today with aspiritualparaidgm.com The results of which have been sent on to the “higher authorities” as it were.

Not reloading right now.

Widget Wrangler is not working with the other plugins? Or? This plugin made it so much easier to add my widgets without rewriting the sidebar. Guess I am going to have to learn how to rewrite the sidebar?

To esmi Forum Moderator, let me know when you can look at the site in 2014 theme, so I can change it back after. If you wish. Tho I did not have any luck using that theme for either of my sites. It is working beautifully for officewife.biz and the same plugins, maybe one or two different from the others. I don’t know the difference.
