• I installed & activated the Wootumblog plugin without any issues. But in order for it to work, some of the code had to be altered.
I attempted to edit according to their directions using the Envisioned theme by Elegant themes, and my whole site crashed.
The error stated: Parse error, syntax error, unexpected
    in/home/nurselyssie/nurselyssie.com/wp-content/themes/Envisioned/epanel/custom_funtions.php on line 2

Luckily, I saved the original style sheet beforehand for this very reason. But when I went to the wp-login url, I had the same error and so I can’t even log into my wordpress dashboard to revert the changes!

Next, I tried finding my codes through my dreamhost account, but had no luck. So I deleted the wordpress database on dreamhost so I could install it. But when I tried reinstalling, it told me there were php files there & no space to import. At this point, the error message had changed to:
the error message: “error establishing database connection.”

So I restored the database from my recycle bin & tried restoring the database to 4 days ago. Dreamhost indicated that the restore was successful. But despite this, i continue to get the connection error and still cannot log into wordpress.

If I could just figure out how to access my www.remarpro.com dashboard, I think I would be golden. Ive been trying to resolve this for 3 days now – I’m hopeless, frustrated, and confused.

If anyone has an idea of how to fix this, I would be forever grateful. I’m absolutely desperate. :/

  • Have you tried FTP? Example:

If your domain name is domainABC.com, your cPanel username is domain5, and your password is 123456, you would use the following login credentials:
    FTP Host domainABC.com
    FTP Username domain5
    FTP Password 123456

My sites just crashed this a.m. and I cannot get in this way either- waiting for server person to wake up, on the west coast and I’m on the East…
