SiteOrigin Page building not working my pages. but works sidebar widgets

Thanks for reaching out.

The shortcut (Appearance > Home Page) is specific to SiteOrigin North. You can, however, go to Settings > Reading and select any page to be used as your home page. Put another way, go to Pages, create a page called Home then go to Settings > Reading and assign that page as your static home page.

If you’d like to work with Page Builder in the classic interface by default, you can also consider installing the Classic Editor plugin from Plugins > Add New.

But Unfortunately there is no Home page option in in Appearance. but i already select my home page by using setting>reading seittings.
in my appearance tab i can see following options.

Themes
customize
widgets
menus
header
background
customizable blogily
theme editor.

But i can’t see the homepage option in the same menue.

Correct, there will be no Appearance > Home Page in your theme, it’s only in SiteOrigin North theme and a few others. It isn’t a requirement, it’s just a shortcut.

Go to Pages, edit the page you’re using as your home page and follow the video from there. Appearance > Home Page isn’t necessary.

If you’re using the Block Editor, Page Builder can be inserted via a SiteOrigin Layout Block. Alternatively, if using the Classic Editor, Page Builder will be present as a tab next to Visual and Text, click on the Page Builder tab to get started.

i was already installed classic editor and thank you very much for your suggestion, I did that same you talled me. i went to pages and selected my home page and i followed the video. page was set correctly. but it not appear in the home page to preview. that is my problem sir. i follow the video same settings and all were correct but it not showing anything. ;(

No problem.

Is this related to Page Builder? If you create a new page, called Test for example and then go to Settings > Reading and make Test your home page, does it display as your home page when viewing your site?

Please, set Settings > Reading to the home page you want to use and save. Then take a screenshot of Settings > Reading and of Pages > Home Page (whatever that may be called), finally take a screenshot of what you’re seeing when you view your home page and also send me the link to that page. Thanks.

but pagebuilder is not working. if you dont mind i can share the username and password sir, if you dont mind please check those settings and other things and give me a solution to build a page with pagebuilder.

The Hero is outputting it just isn’t functioning normally. Try temporarily deactivating all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin, in that baseline state, see if the Hero begins to function normally.

sir, i deactivated all widgets not authored by siteorigin.
then i edited again. widget preview is working. after update the page. it not working on the page. please see the screenshot, that is widget preview but page is still empty.

An aspect of your theme is causing a problem. As a test, if you temporarily switch to Twenty Nineteen theme the issue should resolve.

You can try adding the following to Customize > Additional CSS to resolve the issue.

article header { float: none !important; }
