• I would like to be able to use more fonts than the standard ones included with the SiteOrigin Editor and can’t seem to find any topics here that help with that.

    Is there a plug-in that would work? Or some simple code I could add into the Appearance> Edit CSS area?

  • Hello there,

    The Easy Google Fonts plugin could help you easier managing custom font on particular element of your site. What you would need to do is to supply the CSS selector of the section/element that you wish to have different font in the “Add CSS Selectors” option. Please see this video for your reference.

    I added the Easy Google Fonts plugin and was able to see changes on “paragraphs” but I’m not seeing changes to any of the other headings on my site. I am changing the font through the Typography area in customize.

    Hello there,

    Have you properly defined the CSS selector through Settings > Google Fonts > Edit Font Controls? For example:

    Custom google font

    If the problem were you couldn’t find the correct selector, I’d recommend you to check this video out.

    I am royally confused now. LOL!

    I am a little timid to enter code into the theme…if I am understanding correctly, I can’t achieve all this font change with only the customize area of the dashboard???

    I was hoping for a more simple way to change individual fonts on individual pages, not groups of fonts that change on all pages or all paragraphs.

    I am looking for a way to be able to insert more fonts into specific widgets like the Site Origin Editor, so that every time I use that widget I can select from more fonts on an individual basis…for example: on the home page I want to add the site origin editor widget with a specific font, but on my disclaimer page I want to add the site origin editor with a different specific font…but I want to be able to have more choices. There are only 17 basic fonts that I can select from currently on the Site Origin Editor widget.

    Hello there,

    I am sorry for confusion. You can declare the font family on each widget through Widget Styles options. Edit your selected SO Editor widget, expand the Attributes tab, and then put the font family declaration to the CSS Styles box. For example:

    font-family: Arial Black,sans-serif;
