SiteOrigin editor looses changes Text to Visual View

I am using FontAwesome to embed icons into a page on localhost. Unable to provide link as using localhost at the moment. I am using ‘<div><i class=”fa fa-file-text-o fa-4x”></i></div>’ code segment. I entered the html code using the Text View. When I switch to the Visual View and make other changes and then click Update ‘<i class=”fa fa-file-text-o fa-4x”>’ is remove leaving only ‘<div></div>’. The font-awesome icon does not display.

For those who are having this issue, I found that I need click done in Text View and then click Update before making other changes using Visual View.
