Can you verify that the <title> tag in the source matches the expected output according to your settings? If it does, Google could be changing your site title in the SERPS.

You can find more information about this issue here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/google-shows-different-titles-for-my-site/

Yeah, i can. it matches exactly.

the <title> tag is showing “Umschnalldildo übersicht ? jetzt vergleichen und sparen!” but Google always shows “Umschnalldildo übersicht ? jetzt vergleichen und sparen! – Strap on it”

I’ve tried it with site: and cache: but its all the same.. :/

@insomnis In some cases, Google ignores the specified SEO title and modified it based on the search query. Please, refer to our this guide to learn more about this.

so you think i configured all correctly in YOAST?!

I have to say, that til 4-5 weeks ago my URLS just looked like this in YOAST: “Umschnalldildo übersicht ? jetzt vergleichen und sparen! – Strap on it”

I used the separator “-” AND i used the sitename at the end of every URL.

@insomnis We’re unable to confirm whether you have setup the Yoast SEO on your website correctly as we don’t know anything about your setup.

However, we can confirm that Google modifies the SEO title and Meta description in some cases. You can find more information about this from the guide provided to you.
