sitemaps/robot.txt error help

  • Hi ive been trying to sort this problem all evening in my google webmaster tool i get this error.

    We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

    and on google it says this for the desciption of my site

    supercleancarpets: Carpet cleaning
    https://www.supercleancarpets.co.uk/ShareA description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt

    any information would be really appreciated.
