    Hi there,

I analyzed my website with Semrush. The message appeared: “If your website contains sitemap.xml and robots.txt files, you should include a link to sitemap.xml in robots.txt. This will help search engines to see what content to crawl.”
As a WordPress user (I am not an admin) I unfortunately do not have access to Robots.txt, but I am wondering whether the Yoast WordPress plugin can enter the sitemap_index in Robot.txt?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

In terms of editing the robots file you should be able to go to SEO>Tools>File Editor and add in the link in robots.txt rules. Please check this guide for more details: How to edit robots.txt through Yoast SEO.

If you are not having this ability, your host provider or admin may be able to help.

Thank you very much. But there is not a option for “File Editor” ??

If you’re not seeing the File editor options in Yoast SEO tools is due to the incompatible permission. Your server doesn’t have the write permission for Yoast SEO to edit the robots.txt and as such you’re not seeing the option. If the robots.txt file is not writable or your WordPress install has disabled file editing, the following steps may fail. Optionally, you can edit at the server level.
