Sitemap Working But Not In Root

Guys & Gals,
I got Wp-Seo working, I think.
domain.com/sitemap_index.xml
I see the XML working.
But when I check the root folder with FTP.
The files, sitemap_index.xml & sitemap_index.xml.gz are Not there.
Are the folks at Yoast (CDN)hosting everyone’s sitemaps?
Or am I missing a setting or fix?
