sitemap update issue

    Hi,
    from last 3 days I was facing issue of sitemap not updating in console, as per the troubleshooting steps i deactivated the cache plugins, from server as well. flushed cached from every possible way saved rankmath , permalinks, nothing seems to be working .

    atlast i switched off the rankmath sitemap and insalled xml sitemap, and yeah it showed me correct number of urls and updated.

    what is the happening and how can i resolve this issue

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    I have already done all those steps, as mentioned above the last i did was switching off the sitemaps and installing xml sitemap which resolved the issue.

    Is it ok to use another plugin for sitemap with rankmath for seo? because after doing everything possible the issue does not seems to fix.

    Hello @yogeekeye

    Sure. Just keep the Rank Math’s Sitemap module turned off in case you are using any other Sitemap plugin.
