sitemap-tax-category.xml missing – fixed

    I had an issue with the Google Plugin “Google XML Sitemaps” whereby the plugin generated an empty file for “sitemap-tax-category.xml”

    There was no solution posted online, but basically this empty file is generated if you select the option ” Include categories ” in the configuration.

    When I de-selected the ” Include categories ” option, the empty file was non longer created and my Google Search Console resolved the empty XML file error.
