• I will revisit this plugin when they get the bugs worked out of the sitemap function. Yes, I’ve tried every recommendation on the Yoast site and then some to attempt get google to accept the sitemap file. I even deleted my cache program and turned off all other plugins, to no avail. I used another sitemap plugin that worked out of the box with no issue – so it’s not me it’s you ?? The funny thing is that the Yoast plugin told me what other plugin I was using (that worked) and asked if I wanted to disable it since there may be conflict. Nice try.

  • Hi @reverendspam,

    Thanks for your feedback.

We are sorry to hear you’re having problems with the XML sitemap functionality of Yoast SEO. Can you please make sure you’re running the latest version of the plugin: Yoast SEO 7.4.1?

If you are already up-to-date and the problem persists, we’d kindly ask you to create a new topic in the www.remarpro.com forum so that our support team can assist you further. Please, include as much information as possible in the topic. Let us know whether you get any error or warning and describe the exact steps needed to reproduce the problem. Screenshots are usually helpful too.

I agree with you, reverendspam. My site was way better indexed on Google before installing the Yoast plugin – so many settings are on ON/YES as defaults.

Yoast is all about selling you useless crap, and the free plugin is just an ad in disguise.
