Sitemap redirecting to 404 page

Sorry to hear it. We checked the site and didn’t find anything wrong with the Yoast SEO output in the tags or in the schema data for the homepage. The sitemap is also valid with no errors when we checked it.

Despite this, the site did not appear when we did a site search in Google.

To find out why this is happening, please use the URL Inspection tool in the Google Search Console and let it analyze https://goparagon.com/. Are there any errors?

i have the same issue with https://www.industrymasters.de/sitemap_index.xml.
It will be redirected to home; https://www.industrymasters.de/?sitemap=1 works, but the url to the xml-sitemap redirects. I used the google checker, added the header as described, cleared cache, rebuilded permalinks, used the health tool and deactivated all plugins but Yoast; always redirecting. Verything what i found in the web. nothing. Can you check. please?

We did a SITE: search for https://goparagon.com/ and we do see that it is outputting in the search results. The sitemap index https://goparagon.com/sitemap_index.xml is also loading as expected, and the homepage is also loading as expected with the meta robots tags of ‘index’ and ‘follow’ so we would expect that it would output and show in the search results just fine, so it seems the plugin is working as expected.

Yes, I fixed the problem. It was set to hide pages from search engines for some reason… which meant that the site-map and all other pages were being hidden.
