    Hi guys,
I’m using Yoast SEO plugin for many years. Buy I faced a new problem for several month and can’t figure it out!
My main sitemap doesn’t load. I got 500 Internal Server Error (Request Time Out)
This porblem occured when we used NGNX. Now we switched to OpenLiteSpeed but the problem is here.
Sub sitemap load with no problem. The problem is only with sitemap_index.xml.
I added the custome code for limiting 100 ink for each page to my functions.php in child theme.
Is there any idea to resolve this?!
    Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

We were able to replicate the issue on our end where sitemap is failing to load.

Server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for any errors that occurred during that time period. If you don’t have access to your server error log, please ask your?hosting provider to look for you.

If you or your web host cannot pinpoint the cause, please provide us with a copy of the server error log for further investigation. As server logs can cover a large amount of time, please limit the error log to a few minutes before you generated the error to a few minutes after the error.

If the server error log does not contain any errors at the time of the issue, please enable advanced WordPress debugging with the code?here. This code requires that you change line 84 to point to a path on your server. Your webhost can provide you with a secure path to save the error.log file.

    Thank you @suascat_wp
I have access to anything you want. You mean error log of webserver (openlitespeed) or error_log of wordpress?!

We expect the error_log of WordPress.

    I check the wordpress error_log.
Nothing is related to sitemap. Want to check it ?
How can I send it private?

Could you please check the server log?

If still issue remains, we suggest performing a conflict check. the fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you do not feel comfortable to do this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

    I found the problem.
SEO => Search Appearance => Archives => Show archives for authors without posts in search results? => ON
    It should be OFF.
I geuss becuase of many users that we have, “author-sitemap.xml” couldn’t be loaded that coused “sitemap_index.xml” also get error 500.
