Sitemap picking up temporary url

    Our site is on a shared server that has a temporary url as well as the functional one. For some weird reason the xml sitemap is using the temporary url (vz2.0dc.myftpupload.com) instead of https://www.magarellifertility.com in the sitemap. Perhaps the sitemap was generated before the site was launched? How can we fix this problem?

  • Hi, the sitemap is never “generated” in the classic sense. It’s a dynamic xml feed like all other feeds (rss, atom) and should immediately use the new URL. At least, if you defined it on Options > General as the Site Address.
