    Hi,

    Upon checking your sitemap index https://humbletricks.com/sitemap_index.xml, all of your sitemaps are loading as expected.

    Could you please provide us with a screenshot and more information of the specific notification or message you are receiving from Google Search Console regarding the URLs in your post sitemap so we can further understand this?

    There are 306 URLs indexed in the coverage report. Why all URLs are showing “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap”. And, a sitemap is not showing the exact number of URLs, as you see in index coverage thee 306 URLs but sitemap is showing in GSC just only 230 URLs (this is showing from last 3 months). More, a sitemap is not showing child sitemaps, that why I think my sitemap is not being read by Google.

    And when I put any URL in the GSC inspection tool, it shows everything N/A, including sitemap. Google stopped reading sitemap,

    In simple words, Google is not discovering any URL by a sitemap. Sitemap is just stuck/stopped. All the old URLs that were discovered/indexed by sitemap are showing “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap”. I am not able to index any URL without sitemap.

    @akhtarjii,

    We recommend the following:
    1. Clear all your cache from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like Cloudflare or browser. If you are not sure how to clear cache from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

    2. Delete your sitemap in Google Search Console. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site. This guide explains more (scroll to the bottom): https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/183669?hl=en.

    3. Submit the sitemap again. Be sure to submit only sitemap_index.xml and nothing else. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/.

    4. Monitor the results to see if the issue resolves

    I’ve done this lots of time. Google doesn’t try to read the sitemap. Google just updates the read date, nothing more. Even doesn’t increase the number of discovered URLs.
