    Hi there,

I generated a sitemap on 20th Jan 2021 for the website and it has 11 URLs in it. However when i checked today, i was only able to find 2 URLs on the sitemap.xml file.

    https://www.uretekindia.com/page-sitemap.xml

I have done the following items already but there has been no change in the sitemap file:

    1. Cleared the WProcket plugin cache from each page
    2. Added the sitemap.xml to the cache exclusion list.
    3. Made sure all the pages in search appearence are set to show to search engines.
    4. Checked that the advance SEO section of Yoast plusg is set to index and follow.

Please let me know asap what needs to be done to fix the issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello!

We’re sorry you’re having trouble with the Yoast sitemap.

Can you please deactivate the XML sitemap functionality, clear your cache (server, plugin, etc), and reactivate the XML sitemap again? You can deactivate/reactivate the XML sitemap functionality under SEO > General > Features tab. Once done, try loading your sitemap again and see if those URLs show up.

If the issue persists, please provide us a sample URL that exists on your site but doesn’t show up on the sitemap.

    Looking forward to your response.

I already did the above suggested steps but the issue persisted.

Some of the URL that are not showing in the sitemap are

    https://www.uretekindia.com/technologies-slab-lifting

    https://www.uretekindia.com/technologies-pavement-remediation

    https://www.uretekindia.com/technologies-void-filling

    Thanks
Looking forward to resolving the issue.

@kanikathakran Thanks for your reply, and we’re sorry to hear you are still experiencing difficulties with the sitemap updating.

If after ensuring that both WordPress, Yoast SEO, and your other plugins and themes are up to date the issue is still occurring, we’d next recommend performing a conflicting check to see whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast SEO Plugin updating the sitemap. This will help us narrow down the exact cause and determine what the next steps are while saving you time.

The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.
