Sitemap not found/not working

    When trying to find the sitemap on the site using the /sitemap.xml page it just shows a message.

    “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”

    The page is blank below.

    I have tried deactivating the plugin and reactivating it. I have tried turning on and off settings in the sitemap area in the settings. I have flushed my cache and saved permalinks.

    Hello!

    Your sitemap works as intended on my browser. Have you since found and resolved the issue?

    If not, try another browser and see if that works, or hit either CTRL+SHIFT+R / CMD+OPTION+R / CMD+SHIFT+R (Windows / Safari Mac / Not-Safari Mac) when viewing the sitemap — this tells your browser to discard any cache it holds for the page.

    I have cleared my cache and used, Chrome, Mozilla, Opera, Edge and also tried putting the URL into Geopeeker. I have changed my VPN location and nothing seems to work.

    On Mozilla, I get this message.

    XML Parsing Error: no root element found
    Location: https://www.kfk9.com/sitemap.xml

    I am not sure why it is working now but I deactivated the plugin. Installed the extension manager plugin from the site and then reactivated the main plugin. It looks like it is working now.

    I think you marked this topic as “resolved” via your last message. I’m not sure what the chronology of your reply on this topic and the other topic are, but if you’re still encountering this issue now or in the future, let me know! It’s probably a plugin conflict that we’ll need to sniff out.

    The Extension Manager plugin has no code that should affect this behavior.
