Sitemap is HTML Error

I see at the end of sitemaps:

<!-- permalink_structure ends with slash (/) but REQUEST_URI does not end with slash (/) -->

It’s often added by WP Fastest Cache. It’s possible that sometimes ‘Content-type’ is cached as HTML instead of XML. When you installed WP Fastest Cache?

Other issue could be CloudFlare firewall. Googlebot could be marked as “bad”. More details:

It’s most likely CF issue, but I don’t have enough details. Please check the Firewall Event Log (CloudFlare Dashboard).

I had uninstalled and reinstalled WP Fastest Cache Premium last week so I think that might have been the problem and maybe corrupted the sitemap.

So I turned off the sitemap in Yoast and saved it. Then I removed the sitemap from Google Search Console.

Next I went back and turned on the sitemap in Yoast to regenerate it. I was able to successfully submit it.
