Never seen this before. Sitemap is hacked. I have reinstalled wordpress and plugins, but still the same. Also after emptying cache. I have followed these steps: https://web.dev/fixing-the-japanese-keyword-hack/ and used two different scanners to find malicious code, but all seems clean, but is clearly not. Anyone come across something like this?

    Hello @yessi99

Thanks for reaching out regarding your sitemap. Your sitemap wasn’t hacked but your website and it’s filled with these spam HTML URLs.

We recommend having your web host run an audit on your server. Once the audit is complete, your web host will make appropriate recommendations on fixing and securing your site.

What should you do after the hack has been cleaned up?

Thank you @maybellyne , I see the hosting provider also has an option for a malwarescan. Running it now. Even though the scanners I used inside WordPress are not finding any hacked files anymore, the website is still ‘hacked’. The domain is also sending spam. I hope the scan from te provider shows something to work with.

    Anyway, thanks for your reply.
