Sitemap Index and Robots.txt

    Hello,

    I just purchased you plugin, is quite nice.

    But I have some questions…

    You add the index sitemap in the robots.txt (the right thing to do), but the index sitemap it doesn’t contain the google-news.xml. Why is that?

    Yes I will add it in GSC… but even so. is not better to be found by crawlers faster through robots.txt?

    Thank you for your purchase ??

    Sitemap Index doesn’t contain Google News, because News post URLs are already included in Posts Sitemap. Also, you are right about robots.txt. We will add this feature within several hours and release a new update.

    Also, we are currently working on adding Image and Video Sitemaps to Index Sitemap. This feature also comes with next release ??

    Dear @vladynol

    We have already released 1.7.0 version with improved robots.txt features. Now, all needed Sitemaps including Google News will be automatically added to WordPress robots.txt.

    Please update your plugin and let us know if there are any other issues!
