I helped them fix there issue by suggesting that they create the sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz directly on their server either by creating the file in terminal or in your favoriate text editor and uploading it where you wish, saving it, and chmoding it to 777. Once that is done you can click the manual rebuild button in the pugin options and it works beautifully. ?? Mine are viewable here: https://gatewayy.net/sitemap.xml or https://gatewayy.net/sitemap.xml.gz. If you need help just let me knwo and I will be happy to assist!
