Hi there,
When I activate the Yoast SEO plugin, I get an error message in a red box on my dashboard that reads:“The following file is blocking your XML from working properly:
/hermes/bosoroweb181/b2117/ipw.ifitship/public_html/blog/sitemap_index.xml” Either delete them (this can be done with the “Fix It” button) or disable YOAST SEO XML sitemapsI went into my files and deleted the sitemap_index.xml file from my public_html blog folder, but the message persists.
Also the “fix it” button wouldn’t do anything.And this is what it says under debug info:
Current option: wpseo
array(21) {
[“blocking_files”]=>

}But i don’t know what to do with that. Is there something else I have to delete or fix?
I presently do not have the plugin enabled because I believe it has been causing odd problems (like redirecting me to the WordPress install.php) a few hours after activation.
Please advise,
laura
