Sitemap error and wrong image alt

    Hi, I try to use Rank Math SEO plugin as an alternative to Yoast SEO plugin. But after a period of use, the sitemap crashed, sometimes blank page and sometimes 404 error displayed. I used another sitemap plugin instead.

    The function of automatically adding the alt attribute to the image is also displayed incorrectly, even though the image already has alt attribute, it is still replaced with other content.

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    That should fix the issue. Please let us know if that does not. We are here to assist.

    For the ALT tag issue, can you please show us the image/article where that is happening? Please stay advised that the ALT tag is added only to the images appearing inside the content area and only if someone has not manually added the ALT tag.
