    Hello,

I am using Yoast seo plug in and it’s working good. But recently i am seeing Two errors and warnings in the sitemap. On the category section of the sitemap, Two url’s just showed up and they look like this – https://example1 and https://example2 . No .com or anything, And ofcourse these url types are invalid. And i am unable to get rid off from those urls. Recently i changed some of the functions of my site. Change means previously i included the forum comments and posts into the sitemap, but then i unchecked it and deleted the forums. Now it’s been a month since i done that, and sitemap also started giving me warnings. Is there Anyway that i can change the Url’s of the sitemap? and also delete the links from it which is showing 404 error? Please help. Google not verifying my sitemap. Your site appears to be down due to an error in your theme. Once you’ve resolved the theme error, please run a conflict check. If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts

Thanks for the reply. My site is up and running. Just check my sitemap please now. And tell me how to get rid of from those error links?

The invalid links are actually for these pages:

    https://usafreebiesdaily.com/freebies/
    https://usafreebiesdaily.com/sweepstakes/

The canonical URL is overwritten at the category level, most likely by accident. Please edit these categories and remove the canonical URL.

Thank You So Much. I removed it. But how much time did it going to take for the valid urls to take the place of those invalid urls in the sitemap?

The canonical now shows correctly on the category pages. Sitemaps are typically updated instantly when you add, change or remove content. Cache can prevent this from working so please clear any cache plugins or server cache. Sometimes disabling then re-enabling the individual sitemap or all of the sitemaps will reset cache as well.
