Sitemap doesn't show up in Webmaster tools

Hi,
This is probably a super easy fix, but the message “your sitemap file is created in the site root directory” pops up in WordPress, but there is still no sitemap in Google Webmaster Tools. How do I go about downloading the sitemap into Websmaster Tools?
