Just to update, the news sitemap DOES have a no index tag, but the main sitemap doesn’t!

    Can this be fixed please?

Hi Heather, it looks like you found a bug. Thanks for reporting. It will be addressed in the next release ??

In the meantime, if you absolutely need the noindex response header, you could do this: Go to Settings > XML Sitemap to find the Server option on the General tab and switch the the “Plugin” sitemap server.

    Hi again,

You said it would be fixed in the next release, which I have now installed, but it is still the same.

Only the news sitemap has the no index tag, the others don’t.

Hi Heather, I have not released the new version yet.. You may have re-installed the same version 5.4.9 that was released in May?

Very strange as it was an update on the day I posted that comment which I updated to.
    Very odd!

I always check for updates every day, and it was showing as a new update. How bizarre.

Only thing I can think of is wordpress bugged out and pushed an update that I already had.
I wish I had of taken a screenshot.

Nevermind, I will await the update.
    Thanks for replying.

What I have updated recently is the WordPress version compatibility info. So maybe you had an older plugin version installed and the 5.4.9 version only became available to you because of the compatibility info… In any case, it will be fixed in the upcoming release. Thanks again for reporting ??
