    Hi,
I have a problem with a sitemap in Search Console.
    It shows results:
    /sitemap_index.xml success
    /page-sitemap1.xml success 1 000
/page-sitemap2.xml Sitemap could not be read
    /page-sitemap3.xml success 141
/post-sitemap.xml Sitemap could not be read

So it seems that Google has a problem with reading only a part of the whole sitemap.
I have the latest versions of WordPress and of all installed plugins.
Any idea what is going on and how to solve this problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

As a test we did a curl check on https://topcoloringpages.net/sitemap_index.xml it shows 200. This means Google is expected to crawl and index it. See image: https://pasteboard.co/I0Pwjvn.png

We are not sure why Google is failing to do when the sitemap loads and has the correct status header.

    We suggest the following actions:

    1. Clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browsr. If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

    2. Delete your sitemap in Google. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site. This guide explains more (scroll to the bottom):?https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/183669?hl=en.

    3. Submit the sitemaps again. This guide explains more:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/.

    4. Monitor the results to see if more pages get indexed
