Sitemap Child files not showing in GSC

    I want to know why my all the posts are not getting updated & neither visible on google SERP.
    We are facing the following problems…
    1. The google bot crawls our main sitemap index file but not its children files and show 76 URLs while we have more than 161 urls
    3. When we type “site: needforgaming.com” on google SERP then we find only six results although we have more than 100 posts.

    To troubleshoot the issue, can you please share any errors or notifications you have in Google Search Console that can help to understand the problem better?

    The Google search console show post-sitemap.xml as nonindex and when i submit sitemaps file it shows nothing only zero urls. However, sitemaps indexing status is “successful”

    @needforgaming By default, all sitemaps are set to noindex which means it is not indexed by Google, and therefore is not included in Google’s search results for your site. This is the intended behavior for a sitemap. The reason for this is that the sitemap file is not created or meant to be viewed by a site’s users. But rather, the sitemap is meant only to be read by search engine bots, and serves as a guide to the search engines for what pages are to be indexed for a site.

    As for the sitemap not showing any URLs, can you please provide us with a screenshot of the exact error or warning you are seeing for the sitemap?

    you can see that sitemap process but it shows zero urls and it has been 8 month since i have facing this problem

    @needforgaming Unfortunately the Google drive link you provided requires that you grant access to the image (see image here).

    Would you be able to upload the image using an image sharing site like https://pasteboard.co/ or something similar that doesn’t require access being granted to the image so that we can view it?

    @needforgaming Thanks for your reply and for providing the image.

    If you are receiving a message of ‘Total discovered URLs 0’ after submitting a sitemap, this is typically due to that the parent sitemap has been submitted, but that the child sitemaps haven’t yet been processed by Google Search Console.
