Sitemap can’t be detected (but works via link in plugin)

    Hi there,

    My sitemap works when I click to view it on wordpress via the plugin, however Google Search console returns the error that my sitemap can’t be read. Similarly, I use the tool SEMrush, and it says that my sitemap.xml could not be found.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    I’d recommend enabling Sitemap Indexes and setting the amount of URLs per sitemap to 1,000 since you currently have more than 5,000 URLs in your sitemap. It’s loading slowly and most likely timing out.
