    Hello,

Am facing a problem with SEO Framework when i submit my sitemap to google search console. In the past i faced some similar issues and i always used the old search console and that would always work

Google gives me the bellow error ( please not that the pages are indexed and sitemap link is accessible without any 404 error – also sitemap is validated)

No: 'noindex' detected in 'X-Robots-Tag' http header

Do you have any ideas what is causing this?

    Hello!

We added the X-Robots-Tag: noindex header because we don’t think the file output is useful to search-engine users. While it doesn’t prevent search engines from parsing and using the file as intended, it does prevent them from showing it in their search results.

When you go to the link below (and select a property at the top-left), you should see the submitted sitemap and their status.
    https://search.google.com/search-console/sitemaps

So, it’s intentional. Google Search Console’s reporting on this is incorrect, and you can safely ignore the message.

The same goes for these endpoints when using TSF (v4.0.2+):

    • /sitemap.xls*
    • /sitemap_index.xml*
    • /robots.txt
    • */feed*
    • */comments/feed*
    • /xmlrpc.php*

WordPress should also add these headers to various other endpoints, like for the admin-area.

    Cheers ??
