after submitting my sitemap to google console it shows the status of “Sitemap can be read, but has errors”

the site have 50k plus post items and the generated sitemap.xml only shows a fraction of the items. I’m guessing that the SEO Framework can only generate 3000 items as per the SEO Framework Sitemap Query Limit settings?

is there a way to make SEO Framework generate a sitemap.xml for all post item?

    or am I missing something?

    Hello!

Please see our KB article about “All you must know about sitemaps”:
    https://kb.theseoframework.com/?p=119

There, we explain the benefits of having fewer items in the sitemap.

If you wish to show all the items over split sitemaps, there also, in the last section, we explain how TSF expounds on WordPress Core sitemaps, which allows you to display every forgotten post in the sitemap.

The errors are probably synchronicity issues in Google’s index: Google compares what it already knows about your site to the newly submitted data, but it won’t verify that for you until they completely recrawl your website. So, after submitting a brand new sitemap from a known and well-indexed, Google will protest a bit. Depending on the size of your site, everything should rectify without intervention necessary within a few days to a few months.
